Well done to the Fetch A Sketch crew who raised hundreds of pounds last Saturday for their London exhibition by selling off sketches by former Portsmouth University students. Chief organiser Roberta left this message for everyone:
“On behalf of all the Fetch a Sketch folks, I’d like to say a massive thank you to those who supported the event!
You made the day a success and helped us raise splendid funds, so that students can participate in the New Designers graduate exhibition in July, which will help them to promote themselves (and Portsmouth creative folk in general) further afield.
Please keep supporting local artists and hope to see you at the next one…!”
One of our members of staff here at LJRs, Jade Spranklen, has started work on an art piece which some of you may have seen already. Above are a couple of photos of the work in progress so far. Once the piece is finished I will post up the final pictures.
You can see more of Jades work and what shes about by visiting www.sprankstown.co.uk

A good friend of LJRs, Jack Sullivan was away working in London a few months ago and cheekily after hours managed to beam two of our logos onto Marble Arch. Rest assured this is NOT photoshopped, this is real. Cool eh?

Our good friend and chief scout Elly Cattermole came across the old sign for the Lord John Russell (the sight on which Little Johnny Russells is now situated) in Portsmouth museum recently. A real piece of Portsmouth history.
